The Steps You Take

Childhood evaluations and therapy services are available under the Federal Early Intervention Program for Infants and Toddlers with Disabilities.

  1. Receive a FREE and confidential evaluation provided by your county’s Early Intervention oversight organization.
  2. If your child qualifies for services, you will have the opportunity to choose an Early Intervention Provider for your child.
  3. The provider of your choice contacts you to schedule within the first 14 days. Recurring, private home sessions are scheduled during the first visit.

TEIS was the most requested provider in Pittsburgh during 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019!

We look forward to working with your child!

Once your child has qualified for Early Intervention services, the first treatment session can’t be scheduled soon enough!  TEIS feels the same way. We pride ourselves in working with you to schedule the earliest possible date to begin the EI journey. Don’t wait to get started.  The first three years of life go quickly!
