Our Mission is to Empower All Those Whose Lives We Touch to Reach their Full Potential

TEIS therapists share the passion that led our founders Julie and Tara to become Early Interventionists. Our therapists consult experts and utilize a wide variety of resources within and across disciplines to ensure we meet our shared mission: to provide individualized, child-led, family-centered, play-based treatment to help children and families reach their full potential.

As a mom or parent whose child has developmental delays or conditions and special needs, you’re looking for help. Sometimes babies are born with a condition or special need that affects their development. Other times a condition is not apparent at birth, but over time you and your doctor begin to wonder if your child is developing properly.

Parents choose early intervention therapies because they have been shown to yield benefits both immediate and life-long in areas such as behavior, academic achievement, delinquency and crime, and eventual career attainment.
Early intervention therapies acquired from better-trained caregivers and where smaller child-to-staff ratios are available appear to provide the best results.

Early Intervention Therapies

TEIS offers a variety of early intervention services for children from 0-3 years old, including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Vision Services, Nutrition Therapy, Early Childhood Development Therapy, and Social Work.

Early Intervention was such a blessing for my son and my family. He learned how to say multiple words and short phrases, as well as other developmental qualities. I’m so glad Early Intervention was able to help.

My daughter’s therapists provided me with the skills necessary to deal with issues my daughter was having with sleeping, speech and tantrums. Over all she has come a long way and continues to to make good progress.

Erin was such a God-send to our family and continually used innovative techniques in our daughter’s physical therapy. Erin quickly developed a rapport with her which helped my daughter come out of her shell. My daughter, being funny, called her “Ernie” Each session Erin had new ideas and strategies targeted to her needs. Erin had easy and memorable “homework” between sessions so that my husband and I could practice. We would highly recommended Erin.

Early intervention therapy has helped my child reach and exceed developmental milestones. Therapy has been deliberate, effective, and rewarding. We all look forward to our weekly “play dates” and for fun and new play techniques to implement throughout the week. Therapy empowered us to help our child become independent and successful.

There is no question in my  mind that the therapy our son received from TEIS was instrumental in eliminating his torticollis.

We were truly blessed with a group of amazing women to work with our son! They have helped us through so many challenges and gave us the knowledge we needed to help him. From figuring out how to crawl, to learning to talk and getting him to eat more foods these women have always gone way above and beyond anything I could’ve ever imagined. I am so thankful that Bentley had their help and he is doing amazing thanks to them and all of their hard work! Thank you!

Because of Early Intervention our child started to play and interact. He started sitting on our laps and giving greeting to people. We can not say enough wonderful things about our Early Intervention experience. WE believe having Sarah in my son’s life changed his life forever.

A year ago when Stephenie walked into my home my child had three spontaneous words. Today he sang (and acted out) the song No More Monkeys jumping on the Bed. Words can not express how much Stephenie has helped our family. She taught my son strategies on how to say words, built his confidence and helped him practice when he was struggling to form words. She didn’t just come in and expect him to listen to her, but she took the time to build a relationship with him and get him to trust her. Once he trusted her he watched and studied everything she did, and the words started coming and she was there cheering him on the whole way. With my whole heart I do not think my son would be talking as well as he is without her help. After his sessions he was so much more confident and willing to try new words and sounds, and she taught us the strategies to continue working with him all week long. Stephenie has been such a blessing to our family, and I can never thank her enough for giving my son the gift of speech.
